Cookie statement

Last updated 1 August 2026 · Version 1.0

Narutai itself sets seven cookies. All seven are needed for the service to work. We set no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies, and the product contains no analytics software and no tag manager.

In a few places your browser does load something from another party. We name those places below rather than leave them out.

In case of doubt, the Dutch text prevails.

2. The cookies we set

CookiePurposeDurationType
sb-…-auth-tokenKeeps you signed in. Without it you would have to sign in again on every page. Set by our authentication provider. If its contents are large it splits into numbered parts (…-auth-token.0, .1).Up to 400 days, refreshed while you stay signed inNecessary
sb-…-auth-token-code-verifierSecures account creation, accepting an invitation and resetting a password. Removed again immediately afterwards.Only during that actionNecessary
narutai-localeRemembers whether you want the Dutch or English version.1 yearNecessary (preference)
nav_mode_main, nav_mode_accounting, nav_mode_railRemember per menu whether you want it collapsed, expanded, or expanding on hover only: the main menu, the accounting menu, and the one for the other modules.1 yearNecessary (preference)
sidebar_collapsedThe predecessor of the three cookies above. Only read, to carry over your existing preference; Narutai no longer sets it.1 year (expiring)Necessary (preference)
narutai-impersonateFor advisers and shared households only: remembers which client environment you are working in. Not readable by scripts in your browser.24 hoursNecessary
Narutai also keeps a number of screen preferences — such as column widths and which page you last had open — locally in your browser. Those are not cookies: that data is never sent to us.

4. Third-party services in your browser

Narutai loads no advertising networks and no social media buttons. In three places your browser does fetch something from another party. That party sees your IP address in the process — that is simply how your browser fetches a file. We send no data about you along with it.

  • On a security's detail page we show a price chart from TradingView. This is a complete component that TradingView loads into your browser itself: TradingView can set its own cookies and collect data about your use of that chart, and we have no control over that. If you do not open a securities page, this does not happen.
  • The screen where you choose a bank or broker shows those providers' logos via Clearbit. We are moving to hosting those logos ourselves, so that this party disappears.
  • If you choose to import files from Google Drive, Google's file picker loads. This happens only if you use that button.

5. Deleting or refusing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Bear in mind that you will then be signed out: without the sign-in cookie the application does not work. You can always set your language again — on the public pages via the language switcher at the bottom, and inside the application via Settings.

6. Questions

Questions about cookies or about your privacy can be sent to privacy@narutai.com.
